Our Lady of Good Health: Sept. 18

You are invited to attend our Third Friday Mass in Honor of Our Lady of Good Health on Friday, September 18. The evening will begin with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., followed by the celebration of Holy Mass at 7:30 p.m. Come together with family and friends to seek the intercession of Our Lady of Good Health, pray for the healing of body, mind, and spirit, and deepen your faith through worship and community. Our Lady of Good Health is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary that is especially associated with the Marian shrine of Velankanni, India, where devotion began after reported Marian apparitions and miracles dating back to the sixteenth century. Through centuries of faithful prayer, many pilgrims have sought Mary’s intercession for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, earning her the beloved title “Our Lady of Good Health.” This devotion reminds us that Mary lovingly brings the needs of her children to her Son, Jesus Christ, and encourages all who are suffering to place their trust in God’s healing grace, mercy, and providential care.
