Altar Servers

Being an altar server is serving God and His people at Mass by assisting the priest and deacon in the celebration of the liturgy.  The members of this ministry serve at Masses, weddings and funerals (if needed), all Holy Days of Obligation, as well as special Masses and prayer services.  Servers are typically scheduled at their regularly attended Mass and placed on a rotating schedule, usually once every other week.  They also have the opportunity to serve on Holy Days of Obligation and other special liturgies held at St. Paul Catholic Church throughout the year.  Training and ongoing formation are provided.  Boys and girls who have received their First Holy Communion are invited to become an Altar Server.
